Administer a questionnaire in science class to get baseline data about their present level of autonomy.

Implement an inquiry-based learning unit about the systems of the human body in the current science program for four weeks. (4 chapters, 16 forty-five minute lessons)

Students make presentations of the different systems of the human body to determine growth and progress in terms of autonomy awareness. (The teacher uses a rubric)
